My babies are getting so big!

I can't believe my little man is almost 1! He's standing by himself. Not trying to take steps by himself, but it won't be long. Really, I thought he would have been walking already. Sissy is almost 3! She is so independant. Man, time flys. I miss the days of just sitting and holding my wee little ones! I really do need to start planning birthday parties. Maybe a farm theme!?! Sissy would love it! Well, I guess I should be thinking about the parties!

Paying it Forward

We had something unusual happen to us on Sunday. I had to go get groceries and we decided that we would eat out while we were in town. My husband, children and I ate at our local Mexican restaurant. Sunday is buffet day, so we got the buffet. My husband took my daughter to fill her plate. They no more than got back and sat down, and I lady walked up to our table and laid a gift certificate to this restaurant and told us to enjoy the rest of our meal. I thanked her and was speechless. I got up to fill my plate and she was gone. After pondering over what to do, my husband I decided to use it, and the next time we ate there, which is somewhat regular, we would do the same thing for someone else, kind of like pay it forward. By the way, I love that movie!

I've heard of this before, but it's never happened to me. What do you think? Did we decide to do the right thing? Has this ever happened to you before?

Mama's just know!

Isn't it funny how mommy's just know?!? My son had an ear infection 2 weeks ago. I had an idea because he started pulling at his ears. My daughter always got an ear infection whenever she cut teeth. I knew we were getting close to cutting teeth. Jumping Bean was chewing on my thumb today, and guess what? He has a tooth barely poked through! That would explain his fussiness today.

A Little About Me

I am married to the most wonderful husband in the world. We have two children. My daughter, Pumpkin, is two years old. My son, Jumping Bean, is six months old. Pumpkin loves her brother so much. She definitely protects him. We have never really had any issues of her being jealous of Jumping Bean. Praise the Lord! I believe that my children are Precious Angels from God!

The Beginning

I have been following a few blogs for the past few months. I have been learning more about how to save money, getting freebies and just enjoying the other blogs. So I have decided to start my own. For now it's going to be more like a journal. I will be writing about our family: my hubby, Pumpkin and Jumping Bean.
